Our mission isn’t just about picking up bags; it’s about measurable change. By providing a reliable recycling service, we have empowered thousands of households to take control of their environmental footprint.
Accepted Materials
The following items are accepted at all our service locations (Lubbock, Abilene, and Dallas/Ft. Worth):
For All Our Locations
Styrofoam
Clean food containers (cups, egg cartons) and packing blocks. No packing peanuts, please.
Electronics
Cords, cables, keyboards, and small household appliances.
(Lubbock/Abilene: $2/lb charge applies)
Textiles
Clean clothing, shoes, and linens. These must be bagged separately within your service bag.
Household Batteries
Alkaline and small button batteries. Please place these in a small sealed bag before putting them in your recycling bag.
Plastic Film
Grocery bags, bubble wrap, and clean plastic packaging.
Standard Recyclables
In our West Texas locations, we also provide comprehensive collection for standard household items:
Lubbock and Abilene Only
Glass
All colors of glass bottles and jars. Please rinse before bagging.
Plastics #1 - #7
Including water bottles, milk jugs, yogurt cups, and butter tubs.
Metals
Aluminum, tin, and steel cans.
Paper and Cardboard
Flattened shipping boxes, cereal boxes, junk mail, and office paper.
Note: Shredded paper is accepted but must be in a separate, tied-off bag.
Specialty Items
Our Dallas area service is currently focused on non-traditional recyclables. During our initial rollout, we are prioritizing the following:

Styrofoam and Plastic Film
Textiles and Clothing
Household Batteries
Electronics and Small Appliances
Light Bulbs
Accepted only if boxed safely to prevent breakage during handling.
What We Cannot Accept
To keep our service safe for our drivers and our facilities, we cannot accept the following:
Food Waste
All containers must be clean and dry.
Liquids
No half-full bottles or chemical containers.
Hazardous Waste
No paint, motor oil, or ammunition.
Tanglers
No garden hoses, chains, or wires longer than a standard power cord.
Preparation is Key
To ensure your materials are processed correctly, please follow these three simple rules:

Clean
Rinse out any food residue.

Dry
Wet paper or cardboard can ruin an entire batch of recycling.

Bagged
All items must be inside your provided Good Earth bags and tied securely.
