Good Earth Recycling

Our Mission

Dedicated to providing a simple and transparent way for Lubbock, Abilene, and the Dallas-Forth Worth Metroplex to recycle more!

At Good Earth Recycling, Great Service, Transparency, and Education are our top priorities. We believe that environmental stewardship should be easy!

Since 2016, we have been finding creative solutions to recycle items that local municiaplies are not set up for. We started in Lubbock, working directly with Texas Tech University, with a vision to recycle difficult materials—like glass, Styrofoam, plastics #1-#7 and electronics—that are too often destined for the landfill.

Since then, We have kept over 4,300 tons of waste out of the landfill!

Thanks to you we keep 45 tons per month out of the landfill.

The Good Earth Recycling Impact

Measurable Impact, Local Change
At Good Earth Recycling, our mission is to create measurable environmental impact while strengthening the communities we serve. Through reliable, convenient curbside recycling, we’ve empowered thousands of households and hundreds of businesses in Lubbock, Abilene, and soon the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex to take control of their environmental footprint.

Recycling is often limited and inconvenient—especially for hard-to-recycle items. We do things differently by partnering with trusted local, regional, and national processors across the U.S. to ensure materials are handled responsibly. If we accept it, we recycle it.

By choosing Good Earth Recycling, you help keep valuable materials out of landfills and put them back into use. Together, we divert over 45 tons of waste every month—and we’re just getting started.

4,300+ Tons Diverted

Since our founding, our community has helped us keep thousands of tons of waste out of Texas landfills.

45 Tons Per Month

On average, our customers divert over 90,000 pounds of recyclable material every single month.

Transparency

If we accept it, we recycle it. We work closely with specialized processors locally, regionally, and nationally to ensure everything gets recycled here in America and the right way. Have a question about where an item goes? Just ask!

Why We Do What We Do

The current recycling landscape can be confusing and restrictive. Most municipal programs are forced to reject glass, textiles, or Styrofoam because they lack the specialized infrastructure to process them.

We built Good Earth to be that infrastructure. By using a streamlined, bag-based recycling service, we reduce handling costs and contamination, ensuring that the materials you set on your curb actually make it back into the manufacturing cycle.
