How to recycle

33As important as recycling is, it is also important to recycle correctly. Doing so maximizes the chance everything will be fully recycled and not be rejected during collection, sorting and processing.

A FEW HELPFUL TIPS:

No food waste and make sure your recyclables are as clean as possible.

All recycling must be bagged for pickup. (excluding cardboard larger than a cereal box)

Break down all cardboard boxes and make sure all bags are securely tied closed.

Please bag paper mindfully to avoid contamination by water or other liquids.

Please no pizza boxes, dirty napkins, or other products contaminated by food waste.

No need to remove labels! Please only remove lids for items that are made of different material.

Our bag weight limit is 30 lbs. If a bag exceeds this, please split the amount in separate bags.

Please be aware we have a bag limit of 6 bags per pickup. We will pick up extra bags at $3 per bag.

Electronics, Small Appliances & E-Waste may be recycled for $2 per lbs! Please bag separately to be recycled.

We cannot accept an item if it is too large to fit into a traditional bag and cannot be broken down.

Please, no mixed materials that cannot be separated (Toys, Sunglasses etc.)

Recycling is sorted by hand, so please no broken glass or sharp objects.

If using a bin, please ensure the bin is properly labeled as recycling.

Remember, your recycling should never smell!
